HOW TO BOOK – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This screen allows you to make bookings for yourself or for your entire party.

Please refer to the Outline Programme before making your booking.

  1. Enter your own name and contact details
  2. For each person in your party:
    • Enter details of the person you would like to register as requested
    • Review you entry and click on “Add booking to basket”, at the bottom of this page.
  3. If booking for more than one person, complete step 2 for each person in your party (all selections default to those of the last person you entered).
  4. When all bookings have been added to the Basket, click on View Basket (at the top of this page) to review and complete your booking. You can edit or remove bookings by following the links on the View Basket screen.
  5. Click Proceed to Checkout at the bottom of the View Basket screen make payment and complete your booking.
  6. All details will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note:
    • Information which you enter may be shared with Goldsmiths College (or their suppliers in connection with catering, security or facilities management related to the event).
    • We may contact you or other members of your party with further information about the event programme or with important last-minute deals relating to the event.
    • If you are registering other members of your party, the information you provide on their behalf includes personal information. In particular information on dietary requirements and special access needs constitutes “special category” information under the General Protection Data Regulation.   You must be sure that you have the permission of each member of your party to provide this information before you enter their details on this form.
  7. When booking, please note:
    • Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to the event programme, individual speakers, attractions or events may change due to circumstances outside the organisers’ control.

Payments once made are not refundable and cancellations cannot be accepted.  Please consider taking out travel insurance to reimburse you for the cost of attendance and travel in circumstances where your plans unavoidably change.

    If you are registering someone else, please note that in the remainder of this booking form all references to ‘you’ refer to the person who is being registered.  If your booking covers more than one person, the answers below will default to the last person you registered.  Simply amend those answers which need changing.

    Please note that Goldsmiths College has excellent connections to public transport services, but does not offer visitor parking on site.  Instead, ample parking at no charge is available on nearby streets.  Please see the Outline Programme for full details.  

    For those who are registered disabled or have impaired mobility, an Accessibility Guide will be provided nearer to the event date and a small number of reserved parking spaces can be made available close to the venue.     Please indicate here whether the attendee has impaired mobility and a disabled parking space will be required

    Registration for Friday 6th September

    All ringers are invited to join open ringing at a number of City churches and nearby towers between 2pm and 6pm on Friday 6th September.   In addition, St. Paul’s Cathedral have kindly arranged tours of the ringing chamber from 1.30pm and selected churches will be open for ringing between 6pm and 9pm. 

    Please indicate whether you would like to take part in these tours and/or in open ringing.   If so, you will be sent full details closer to the weekend with the opportunity to register for those towers or events in which you are interested

    Please indicate whether you would like to attend the Informal Dinner and Quiz Night (dinner from 6pm, quiz from 7.30pm, bar open to 11pm) at a cost per person of £22

    Registration for Saturday 7th September

    All ringers are invited to presentations by the Council’s five Workgroups taking place between 9am and 10.20am (with repeat presentations on Sunday 8th September for those wishing to attend more than 2). 

    Please indicate whether you intend to go to one or more of the presentations on Saturday 7th September (this does not commit you to attend, but will assist the organising team)

    All ringers are invited to the Annual General Meeting of The Ringing World Ltd. at 10.40am on Saturday 7th September.

    A sandwich lunch with tea/coffee is available on Saturday 7th September at a cost of £12, but must be booked in advance.   Please indicate whether you would like to book lunch on Saturday

    All ringers are invited to the Central Council’s 2019 Meeting between 12.45pm and 5pm on Saturday 7th September. 

    Please indicate whether you intend to go to the Central Council Meeting (this does not commit you to attend, but will assist the organising team)

    All ringers are invited to the Act of Worship and Celebration between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 7th September.

    All ringers are cordially invited to the President’s Reception and Council Dinner commencing 7.15pm on Saturday 7th September.    The cost including champagne reception, 3-course seated dinner with tea/coffee and petit fours is £43 and must be booked in advance.

    Registration for the Mini-Roadshow on Sunday 8th September

    All ringers attending the Mini Roadshow are invited to join service ringing at a number of City churches and nearby towers between 9am and 11am on Sunday 8th September.   Please indicate whether you would like to take part in service ringing.   If so, you will be sent full details closer to the weekend with the opportunity to register to ring for those towers in which you are interested

    The Mini Roadshow will include a wide range of speaker events, discussions and seminars between 9.30am and 4.30pm.  Please indicate whether you are interested in attending one or more of these sessions.  If so, you will be sent full details closer to the weekend with the opportunity to register for those sessions in which you are interested

    A café provided by Goldsmiths College and offering refreshments and a range of sandwiches will be available between 09:30 and 15:30 alongside the Mini Roadshow.      To help Goldsmiths College plan catering, please indicate whether you expect to purchase sandwiches from the café

    Based on demand, Goldsmiths College is also able to offer real ale during the day, priced at around £4.50 a pint.  To help Goldsmiths College plan catering, please indicate whether you would be interested in this offer

    Volunteering

    We need YOUR help! We’re seeking volunteers for a range of different roles to help take care of visitors and make the weekend a success.   Can you give up some of your time? Just a couple of hours? Half a day? Or more?   If so, please indicate areas where you would be happy to help by ticking the boxes below.
